The Old Year has gone away，

He was a friend by every fire，

He was a guest to every hearts desire，

And now he is not at all.

Time once torn away，

No voice can recall.

The eve of New Years Day，

Left the Old Year lost to all.

舊的一年已然遠去，

每一處爐火，都有它親密無間的記憶，

每一個人，都曾視它為尊貴的客人，

但它如今已姍姍離去。

時間只要被分隔，
