第四屆意大利電影文化周“費里尼記憶中的馬切洛”讓重慶觀眾回味的“意式生活”

9月9日至10日,由意大利駐重慶總領事館主辦的第四屆意大利電影文化周“費里尼記憶中的馬切洛”主題活動在UME影城重慶金沙天街店舉行。為紀念意大利著名演員馬切洛·馬斯楚安尼離世25周年,主辦方特意選擇馬切洛與電影大師費里尼合作的兩部經典作品《甜蜜的生活》和《八部半》在重慶展映。

第四屆意大利電影文化周旨在向世界推廣高品質的意大利電影,同時也是“意式生活”推廣項目的重要組成部分,該項目由意大利外交與國際合作部發起,是一個以政府和私人機構共同合作為基礎的長期戰略項目。

意大利駐重慶總領事畢嵐祺介紹,《甜蜜的生活》講述20世紀50年代末至60年代初在羅馬發生的故事,影片中的一些碰撞和對話充滿藝術含義?!霸撈琴M里尼的代表作之一,也是電影史上的經典作品之一,曾獲得戛納電影節金棕櫚獎、奧斯卡最佳服裝獎。影片的成功不僅在于它是費里尼的杰出作品,其歷史背景也是造就經典的重要原因?!碑厤轨鞅硎?,文化推廣活動對加強中意雙邊對話交流非常重要,希望通過電影文化周,將意大利人對電影的熱愛帶到重慶,讓更多的重慶人了解意大利和意大利電影。

《甜蜜的生活》是一部時長180分鐘的黑白電影。電影的主人公是由馬切洛·馬斯楚安尼飾演的一名小報記者馬塞洛·魯比尼,他的工作主要是挖掘名人的丑聞。盡管馬塞洛·魯比尼的生活方式奢華享樂,但他也會思考如果過一種簡單的生活是否會更好。

20世紀50年代末,意大利的經濟奇跡仿佛讓意大利進入了“甜蜜的生活”。然而,物質富有的同時也帶來精神生活的空虛,種種以病態情緒為主導的藝術流派風行一時。費里尼的《甜蜜的生活》就以一種罕見的冷峻、辛辣的筆觸,以男主人公馬塞洛的個人感情經歷和記者生涯為線索,揭示了潛藏在這種社會狀態背后的“一種復雜的精神錯亂癥”。

影片采用一種形散而神聚的非線性敘事方式,將12個松散的片段連綴成一體,將羅馬上流社會光怪陸離的各個側面,以及形形色色的眾生相予以淋漓盡致地展現。毫不留情地揭露現代物質文明富裕之下人們的病態情緒、精神愚昧和空虛焦慮等心理世界。

《八部半》則講述由馬切洛飾演的電影導演圭多在一部影片大獲成功之后,來到一處療養地休息,同時開始構思下一部電影。然而,他的工作伙伴一直在尋找更多的工作,他無法得到片刻安寧。他絞盡腦汁卻無法想激發出靈感,在構思的同時,他開始回憶自己人生中發生的大事。該片是費里尼的自傳式電影,講述了電影制作的考驗和磨難。影片曾榮獲奧斯卡最佳外語片和最佳服裝設計(黑白片)兩項大獎。

The Fourth Italian Film Culture Week “Marcello nel ricordo di Fellini”

The "Italian life" leaves much reminisence to Chongqing audience

From September 9 to 10, the theme event of the Fourth Italian Film Culture Week "Marcello nel ricordo di Fellini", hosted by the Italian Consulate General in Chongqing, was held at the UME Jinsha Skywalk in Chongqing. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the death of the renowned Italian actor Marcello Mastroianni, the organizers specially selected his two classic works La Dolce Vita and 8? in partnership with film master Federico Fellini for screening in Chongqing.

The Fourth Italian Film Culture Week aims to promote high-quality Italian films to the world. At the same time, it is also an integral part of the "Italian life" promotion program. The program, initiated by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is a long-term strategic initiative based on the joint cooperation between the government and private institutions.

According to Guido Bilancini, Italian Consul General in Chongqing, La Dolce Vita tells the story happened in Rome from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Some clashes and dialogues in the film are full of artistic implications. "One of Fellini's representative works and one of the classics in film history, the film has won the Golden Palm Award at Cannes Film Festival and Academy Award for Best Costume Design. The success of the film lies not only in that it is one of Fellini's outstanding works, but also in its historical background, which is an important reason for creating classics." Guido Bilancini said that cultural promotion activities are critical to strengthen China-Italian bilateral dialogue and exchanges. He hoped that through the film culture week, Italians' passion for films would be brought to Chongqing, so that more Chongqing people could learn about Italy and Italian films.

La Dolce Vita is a 180 minute black-and-white film. The protagonist of the film is Marcello Rubini, a tabloid journalist played by Marcello Mastroianni, whose job is mainly to dig up celebrity scandals. Although Marcello Rubini's lifestyle is luxurious and decadent, he will also reflect whether it would be better to live a simple life.

In the late 1950s, Italy's economic miracle seemed to bring the country into La Dolce Vita ("a sweet life"). Material affluence, however, also brought the emptiness of spiritual life. Various art schools dominated by morbid emotion were prevalent for some time. Fellini's La Dolce Vita reveals "a complicated psychosis" hidden behind such a social state in a rare stern and piquant way with the clue of the hero Marcello's personal emotional experience and journalist career.

Adopting a non-linear suave yet concentrated narrative, the film connects 12 loose fragments into one, and vividly manifests all the bizarre profiles of Roman upper class society and assorted of images. It mercilessly reveals psychological world of people under the opulent context of modern material civilization, such as morbid emotion, spiritual ignorance, emptiness and anxiety.

8? tells that film director director Guido Anselmi, played by Marcello Mastroianni, came to a healing place for a rest after the great success of a film and began to conceive the next film. His working partner, however, was looking for more work to do, so he couldn't get a moment of peace. He racked his brain but couldn't think of any inspiration. At the same time, he began to recall the milestones in his life. As Fellini's autobiographical film, this film tells the test and tribulations of film production and had won two awards: Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and Academy Award for Best Costume Design (Black-and-White Film).
